Collector Glazing
The part of the Collector which is transparent to Solar Radiation, reduces heat loss, and protects the Absorber from the elements. In order to reach high temperatures and reduce losses in a collector, the glazing is often made of multiple layers (double-paned glass) or honeycomb layers. |
