Cooling with geothermics
Temperature levels in Central Europe make the upper underground suitable for air-conditioning as well. With geothermal probes or energy piles, the earth can be directly used, i.e. without switching on a heat pump, to cool rooms. In this process only the heat conducting medium that circulates in the system is used and circulated through the building. The only energy requirement is the electricity used by these pumps. Conventional units to cool air are not necessary. |
